Book Keeps is a bookkeeping app that organises the repetitive parts of keeping your books — receipts, transactions, expenses and invoices — and brings anything uncertain to you for review.
Instead of a shoebox of receipts and a spreadsheet you dread opening, Book Keeps keeps the evidence attached to the transaction it belongs to, surfaces the items that need a decision, and prepares clean records you can export or hand to your accountant or bookkeeper.
Book Keeps is built for sole traders, freelancers and small businesses that do their own books — and for the accountants and bookkeepers who work with them. If your bookkeeping currently happens in bursts before a reporting deadline, Book Keeps is designed to spread that work out and shrink it.
Book Keeps organises your records and suggests how to treat them — it does not lodge tax returns for you, and it does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
Book Keeps is currently available for Australian businesses, with support for Australian GST record-keeping and BAS-period organisation. We're building towards additional markets, and we'll only announce them when they're genuinely ready.
The app is available on iPhone, with a web app you can use from any browser. Android is on the way — you can join the waitlist from our home page.
